The Boston Police Department reports finding a man, 26, with multiple gunshot wounds around 7 p.m., Saturday, at 11 Fayston St.
The man was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
He is Dorchester's 19th murder victim this year. Murders over the past year in Dorchester and Mattapan.
The victim was pronounced at the scene.
Boston Police report a 23-year-old man was stabbed to death around 12:10 a.m. at 92 Sumner St.
Lester James, 24, of Dorchester, was arrested this afternoon on a charge of murder, police say. He is scheduled for arraignment tomorrow in Dorchester District Court.
The victim, not identified by police, is Dorchester's 18th murder victim this year, but the first in August.
Boston Police report finding Alessa Castellon, 21, shot to death around 3:05 a.m. at 50 Granger St.
Junior Fernandes, 22, of Dorchester, was arrested on charges of murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
Castellon is Dorchester's 16th murder victim this year.

He was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police found evidence that at least 11 shots were fired.
