JP Gazette: At-large candidate's Grove Hall home hit with a brick

Someone threw a brick through City Council At-Large candidate Tito Jackson's window, the Jamaica Plain Gazette reports. Jackson, who lives in Grove Hall, told the Gazette he believes the brick was meant to intimidate him.

Local NOW PAC endorses Henriquez and three for at-large

The political action committee of the Boston chapter of MassNOW (National Organization for Women) has endorsed three candidates running for City Council At-Large: former Kerry aide Ayanna Pressley; Felix Arroyo, son of the city councillor; and Tito Jackson, a Patrick administration official. Most interesting is their endorsement of Carlos Henriquez, who is running against incumbent District 7 Councillor Chuck Turner. BostonNOW is one of nine local MassNOW chapters.

New England Patriots player jumps into At-Large race – sort of

A political tidbit for a slow Friday:

On break from sacking quarterbacks, a New England Patriots player has written out a campaign donation to Tito Jackson, a Patrick administration official running for one of the four City Council At-Large seats. Le Kevin Smith, a Patriots defensive lineman, donated $500 earlier this month to Jackson’s campaign.  Read more
