"Careless disposal of smoking materials" sparked a one-alarm fire late Saturday afternoon at 104 Robey St. that did an estimated $75,000 in damage and left six adults and two children without a place to sleep, Boston fire officials say.
Fire officials say nobody was injured and that the Red Cross was on scene to help the displaced people find a place to stay.
