Firefighters were called twice in less than 24 hours to 49 Maxwell St. to put out fires on the third floor.

Boston Fire Department spokesman Steve MacDonald said investigators consider the fires, which occurred Monday and Tuesday nights, suspicious, but added they did only minor damage.
