A UMass Boston shuttle bus was hit by a car, causing a brief traffic jam on Morrissey Blvd. mid-afternoon Thursday on the south-bound side of the road. The car hit the bumper of the shuttle bus at 2:25 pm and the scene was cleared at about 3:19 p.m., according to a UMass spokesman.
