Police responded to a double shooting around 2 p.m. today near the intersection of Bowdoin Street and Hamilton Street.

One victim was found on Bowdoin Street and a second was located a block away on Coleman Street.

Information on the identity and condition of either victim has not yet been released, but police say they believe the shooting occurred inside a nearby building.

Both victims have been transported to local hospitals.
