Police probe attack that left man near death in Adams Corner

Boston and State Police are investigating an attack early Sunday that left a man lying unconscious around 4:15 a.m. on Sunday outside the China Sky/Windy City building at 516 Gallivan Blvd.

The Boston Police Department reports the man was taken to a local hospital near death, but that he had improved to stable by Wednesday.

The Irish Independent reports the man is a designer who moved to Boston in 2006 from Cobh, County Cork. He is married and has a young child.

In October, 2011, Ciaran Conneely, an Irish immigrant, was murdered after attending the annual Irish festival in Adams Village.
