Two women attacked in recent days at intersection near Edward Everett Square

The Boston Police Department reports two women have been grabbed by a man at Boston and Mayhew streets in recent days.

A woman told police she was walking at the intersection around 1:15 a.m. on Wednesday when she was indecently assaulted.

According to police, "She heard somebody walking behind her. The victim stated that she turned around and observed a male directly behind her and he reached out and grabbed her buttocks. The victim stated that the male then fled on Boston Street towards Columbia Road and turned on to one of the side streets."

The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, late 20's to early 30's, 5'10" with a medium build.

That's a similar description another woman gave for the man who similarly attacked her around 3 a.m. on Saturday, police say.
