The Boston Police Department reports a man was shot around 12:40 a.m., Saturday, at 2 Bentham Rd.

Officers responding to a report of gunfire there did not find a victim. Police say the man managed to get himself to Carney Hospital. He was transferred to Boston Medical Center, where he died.
