Around 6:40 p.m. on Friday, a woman who had just left Freedom in Christ Ministry, 653 Washington St. was sitting in a car when two men got into an argument nearby, one pulled out a gun and fired. The bullet came through the windshield, grazing her in the head.

At about 11:15 p.m. on Sunday, a woman was shot in the arm at 3 Walton St., just off Washington Street, in a hail of at least nine bullets.

The Friday shooting happened near the Rev. Bruce Wall's Global Ministries Church. After the shooting, he vowed: "We will not tolerate the shootings coming back to Codman Square. Ten blocks around our are church is a no shooting zone. I want the shooters to know that we will turn you in. There is no place to hide"
