Mattapan’s DeSouza honored for work at Dorchester court

Natasha DeSouza of the Dorchester Division of the Boston Municipal Court was one of 17 people honored by the Massachusetts Trial Court with a 2019 Employee Excellence Award last month. Trial Court Chief Justice Paula M. Carey and Trial Court Administrator Jonathan S. Williams, along with Supreme Judicial Court Chief Justice Ralph D. Gants in the ceremony at the John Adams Courthouse on November 21.

“Natasha is a tremendous asset to our court,” said Dorchester Clerk Magistrate Anthony Owens.  “Her efforts are certainly exemplary. She exceeds all expectations, and greatly assists her colleagues and the public through her impeccable work.”

DeSouza is a Case Specialist who began working at the Dorchester Division in 2015. She lives in Mattapan. 

The Massachusetts Trial Court includes 6,400 judges and employees working to deliver justice in 99 courthouses across the state.
