Reporter history explored at Historical Society event on Sunday

Ed Forry and Bill Forry are the featured speakers at the Dorchester Historical Society’s Annual Meeting on Sunday, May 19, at 2 p.m. The father/son duo, Associate Publisher and Publisher/Editor, respectively, of the Dorchester Reporter, will tell the story of their family-owned newspaper, from its founding in 1983, through nearly four decades of challenges and successes, to its vital role in our community today.

The Annual Meeting and all monthly DHS programs are open to the public and free of charge. The program will held at the new building of the Pipefitters Local Union 537 at 40 Enterprise Street (the side street next to the Dorchester Historical Society's headquarters). Park in their lot.
