Onochie, Griffin hired as liaisons for mayor’s office

Acting Mayor Kim Janey has appointed a Mattapan resident and a Dorchester native to positions within the Office of Neighborhood Services. The office works with residents and businesses to speed up city services.

Uju Onochie, who lives in Mattapan and is an active member of the Nigerian American community, is the new neighborhood liaison for Roslindale and the African community across the city. She graduated from UMass Amherst earlier this year with a bachelor’s degree in political science.

Molly Griffin, a Dorchester native and resident, has been tapped as neighborhood liaison for Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Fenway, and Mission Hill. She is a graduate of Boston University and Boston Latin. She has worked summers at the Leahy Holloran Community Center and interned at the State House as a Ward Fellow.
