Shots fired, man injured on Arcadia St.

Boston Police checked for ballistics evidence Wednesday night at the scene of a shooting on Arcadia Street after which one man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two witnesses who live nearby on Draper Street, Mayora Sanusi and Brittany Davis, both 26, told the Reporter they heard “maybe twenty rounds or so” around 6:30 p.m., after which emergency services responded to the scene.

A third witness said the shooting appeared to take place at the same scene of a drive-by shooting last October.

“This is not uncommon; it’s always poppin’ around here,” said the witness, who wished to remain unnamed. “I’m gonna check to see if my car has bullet holes in it.”
