The Boston Police Department reports two men were shot on Wilrose Street between Westwood Street and Puritan Avenue, around 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday

One victim was shot in the face.

Police say one victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was transported to a local hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
