Dr. Ingrid Tucker has been hired to serve as the next executive director of the Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation (NDC), the group’s board announced last week. She will start on Jan. 5, succeeding Gail Latimore, who retired recently.

Tucker most recently served as the CEO at Madison Park Development Corporation. She previously worked as Head of the Cambridge Montessori School, the president of Mother Caroline Academy and Education Center, and the Assistant Head of School at Beaver Country Day School.

“I am honored and inspired to join Codman Square NDC,” Tucker said, “since I am passionate about community and economic development and am eager to build on the organization’s history and legacy and to succeed Gail Latimore who has been steadfastly committed for decades to Codman Square and its residents.

“This truly is a dream job for me, and I am eager to work with such a strong team of staff and partners to make meaningful community change happen.”
