The Latino Law Enforcement Group of Boston held a domino tournament at the Boston Police American Legion Post in Mattapan last Friday (Nov. 28). With nearly 20 teams registered for the two-person teams tournament, competition was heavy throughout the evening

The group, founded in 2017 to represent Latino first responders in the Boston area,  runs several volunteer programs, recruits law enforcement officers from the Latino community, and operates pre-academy training sessions.

All the proceeds from the tournament went to the group’s community programs committee. Organizer Jose Ruiz said he hopes to be able to organize the tournament every year after Thanksgiving.
