Historic New England and Mandorla Music will host their third annual David Chesnut Jazz Festival at the Eustis Estate, 1424 Canton Ave. in Milton, on Sat., Aug. 9. Doors will open at 2 p.m., and the featured bands will perform from 3 to 7 p.m.
“We’re very excited about this lineup of musicians representing a diversity of musical perspectives,” said Mark Redmond, founder and president of Mandorla Music. “Folks can expect fantastic performances in a stunning location. Come join us!”
Featured musicians include Caio e Jess, (3-4 p.m.); Ana Petrova Organ trio (4 p.m.); Taylor Ho Bynum’s Nextette (5 p.m.); and the Gregory Groover Quartet (6 p.m). The festival will be held outdoors, rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for lawn seating.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Roundhead Brewing Company and North East of the Border. No outside alcohol will be permitted. Playa Bowls Milton will provide free mini açai bowls and iced coffee for purchase.
Admission is $20 for Historic New England members, $30 for nonmembers, and $10 for Card to Culture holders. Card to Culture tickets, EBT/SNAP/WIC card must be presented at check in. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance.
