The annual Dorchester Tree Lighting Committee held its cavalcade of lightings stretching from Port Norfolk to Peabody Square last Saturday (Nov. 29), with lots of visitors accompanying Santa and Mrs. Claus on the nine-stop trip. At left, the BGCD Dance Team in Fields Corner joined Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Mayor Michelle Wu, Council President Ruthzee Louijeune, and Councillor John FitzGerald. Both Little Miss and Young Miss Dorchester, Blake Finnegan and Natalie Adkins, also joined the stop. Meanwhile, at the Fields Corner Christmas tree above, young Oliver Devine placed an ornament on the tree in Town Field.
