Third Annual Dot Pot for The Friends of Stephen Folan

Saturday, July 22, 2017

On July 22 and 23rd, Ryan Sweeney, Peter Cahill, and Timmy Galvin will be hosting the third annual Dot Pot, a roller hockey tournament that is held at Garvey Park in Dorchester. Each year, they designate a local cause in need of support. The tournament features 16 highly competitive teams from neighborhoods all around Boston.

This year's tournament proceeds will go to The Friends of Stephen Folan. Stephen suffered a massive stroke in January, spent months in Spaulding Rehab in Cambridge in a minimally conscious state and has now transferred to a full time nursing facility. Stephen is a lifelong Dorchester resident and chef at Florian Hall, and has a long road of recovery ahead of him.

They are asking sponsors to donate $100 to help pay for shirts and other costs, but all donations are appreciated.

If you would like to be a sponsor this year, please make your donation out to "Friends of Stephen Folan" and mail it to any of the addresses below:
Ryan Sweeney, 26 Belton St., Dorchester, MA 02124
Peter Cahill, 67 Oakton Ave., Dorchester, MA 02122
Timmy Galvin, 94 Pierce Ave., Dorchester, MA 02122
