First Parish Dorchester Community Dinner/BBQ Welcomes the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute
Friday, July 12, 2019
10 Parish Street. Meeting House Hill

An informal BBQ dinner providing the opportunity for conversations between members of our community.
For over twenty-five years, The Louis D. Brown Peace Institute has grown into a major center for healing, teaching, and learning for families and communities impacted by murder, trauma, grief, and loss, working to create and sustain an environment where all families can live in peace and all people are valued. We are gathering in July to build support throughout our community for the Mother’s Day Walk for Peace next May. The Traveling Memorial Button Project will be on display during the dinner.

Dinner 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Conversation may well continue on into the evening. The BBQ is outside under the oak trees, by our new picnic tables with the Button Memorial on display and more seating in the Parish Hall. (In case of rain we will be inside.) Bring the family - kids are welcome…playground next door at the Mather School…the grass church yard is great for play & tabletop games are available.
