Mayor Menino will help kickoff a full summer schedule of programming to promote Downtown Crossing’s shopping district including ART Fridays, Boston Art Windows, Jazz in July and Life is a Good Walk as antique car shows every Saturday in August.

Mayor Menino will join local farmers and shoppers to kick off the 2009 summer season for the Ashmont-Peabody Square Farmers Market.

COUNCILOR SAM YOON:
Friday, Sam visits with Chinese Elders at the Brighton House, where he will listen to their concerns about senior living in Boston. He then goes to a community barbeque in Jamaica Plain hosted by the Union of Minority Neighborhoods.
