Three stabbed in restaurant brawl; one arrest

The Boston Police Department reports three men were stabbed - one critically - in a large fight that broke out Thursday night at the Saigon Seafood Restaurant, 270 Adams St.

Police say one of the injured men had to be rushed to Boston Medical Center with possible life-threatening injuries; the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports he was stabbed in the chest. The other two were also taken to Boston Medical Center with less serious stab wounds.

Hung Nguyen, 32, of Dorchester, was arrested on charges of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and assault with intent to murder. The District Attorneys office reports he was ordered held in lieu of $75,000 bail.

Police did not say what caused the large fight to break out shortly before 10 p.m. but said it took a number of officers to quell the disturbance.

On Jan. 8, somebody was stabbed on the sidewalk outside during another brawl.
