The Boston Police Department reports a man was stabbed shortly after midnight on Saturday outside 40 Norton St.

Police say the man he told officers he was walking down Norton when two men approached him and displayed a knife as they demanded his money. "The victim stated he was then assaulted by the males and none of his property was taken."

Police say the man, 28, was taken to a local hospital in serious condition but is expected to survive.
