New manager takes charge at Lambert’s Fitness Center

Lambert’s Fitness Center (LFC) for Women, owned by April Visco, has a new gym manager effective Mon., August 16.

Visco said that, with the imminent addition of several large gyms to the area, she wants LFC to be as competitive as possible. She thinks new manager Dave Pagano will help an even greater sense of community in the fitness center.

Located at 735 William T Morrissey Blvd in Dorchester, LFC boasts a variety of group exercise classes and a spacious environment for women to work out in - and Pagano hopes to bring the highest level of customer service possible to his new job.

“I’ll be there every day to give everyone basic instruction so people see the results they want,” he said. Pagano, who has a degree in Sports and Exercise science and is certified by the National Personal Training Institute, brings years of experience in the fitness industry to his new position at LFC. Pagano has been in Dorchester for several months, and started offering personal training sessions at LFC about two months ago. He’s excited to expand his role at LFC, present new marketing strategies, and bring in new clientele while keeping current gym members satisfied. He has plans for group weigh-in weeks, fitness competitions, and days for members to bring guests and participate in special activities. Pagano said there are definite advantages to being part of a smaller gym, including more personalized attention for members.

“I’ll be able to have my eyes on the whole gym,” he said. “I want it to feel comfortable, not overwhelming like some larger gyms.”
