Leaves and other yard waste can be left out with recycling starting this week. The collection schedule will vay by neighborhood and can be found online at cityofboston.gov. Barrels, bags and branches should be placed curbside by 7 a.m. on recycling days. Residents with two recycling days, will have leaf collection on the first recycling day each week.

Place leaves and yard waste in large paper leaf bags or open barrels labeled “yard waste” (no plastic bags). Yard Waste stickers for barrels are available by calling 617-635-4500 or can be ordered online. Tie branches with string: 3’ maximum length. 1” max. diameter. Do not put branches in barrels.
