Friday (24th) – Tony-Award winning rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar opens at the Strand Theatre tonight at 8 p.m. Show runs through May 3 produced by Fiddlehead Theatre Company. • Cam Charbonnier— a candidate for Mayor of Dorchester— hosts a fundraiser starting at 7p.m. at Florian Hall, 55 Hallet St. The event will raise funds for the Dorchester Day Parade.

Saturday (25th) – Franklin Park Spring Clean-Up 1-4 p.m. with Arbor Day and Boston Shines celebration from 4-7 p.m. (Cancelled if steady rain.) We’ll have gloves, tools and trash bags. Tuesday (28th) – A new organization — the All Dorchester Women’s Professional Network— host its inaugural meeting from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at ester restaurant and bar, 2261 Dorchester Ave. The guest speaker is Carol Conway Bulman, president and CEO of Jack Conway Realtors. Annual membership dues are $50, payable at the event. Thursday (30th) – 7th Annual Taste of Dorchester from 6-8:30 p.m. at IBEW Local 103, Freeport Hall, 256 Freeport St. with over 20 restaurants and hundreds of well-fed guests. Friday (1st) – The next Dorchester Civic Forum will be held at 7p.m. at First Parish Dorchester on the broad topic of Environmental Justice, with specific subtopics to be announced.
