Friday (24th) – Tony-Award winning rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar opens at the Strand Theatre tonight at 8 p.m. Show runs through May 3 produced by Fiddlehead Theatre Company. • Cam Charbonnier— a candidate for Mayor of Dorchester— hosts a fundraiser starting at 7p.m. at Florian Hall, 55 Hallet St. The event will raise funds for the Dorchester Day Parade.
Saturday (25th) – Franklin Park Spring Clean-Up 1-4 p.m. with Arbor Day and Boston Shines celebration from 4-7 p.m. (Cancelled if steady rain.) We’ll have gloves, tools and trash bags.
