Dorchester Youth Soccer holds walk-in registration for its Fall Soccer House League at Pope John Paul II Park in Neponset, 9 a.m.- noon. Registration closes August 23 and the season starts September 13. Register online at dyssoccer.com.

The Boston Police Department will host a Flashlight Walk in Savin Hill at 7:30 p.m. Participants will meet at the corner of Rockmere Street and Caspian Way and will receive a free flashlight as well as a Hoodsie from the BPD ice cream truck.
