A man in his 20s was killed early Tuesday morning on Shepton Street, police said.

Officers received a call of shots fired near 15 Shepton Street at about 12:15 a.m., according to police. At the scene, police found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

The unidentified man appeared to have been shot multiple times, said police spokeswoman Rachel McGuire.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, near the intersection of Dorchester Avenue and Shepton Street.
