Man awaiting trial for a murder in Mattapan is charged with another murder in Franklin Field

Authorities on Friday announced the indictment of Julian Troche, 24, for the murder of Dantley Leonard in Franklin Field on Nov. 12, 2016 - five days before he was arrested for the murder of Andrew Flonory earlier that year.

A Suffolk County grand jury this month indicted Troche on charges of first-degree murder, armed assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm for Dantley's murder and the wounding of a second man on Ames Street, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office and Boston Police report. Dantley was a Kingston resident.

Officials did not have to go far to find Troche - he's already in custody awaiting trial for the June 18, 2016 murder of Andrew Flonory on Astoria Street in Mattapan. Flonory's sister, Eyanna Louise Flonory was shot to death, along with her young son, Amanihotep Smith, in the 2010 Mattapan Massacre.
