A man suffered non-life threatening injuries in a mid-morning shooting Wednesday near the intersection of Adams Street, Parkman Street, and Neponset Avenue.

Police responded to reports of a man shot near 854 Adams St around 11:35 a.m., according to police spokeswoman Officer Rachel McGuire. The victim, who has not been identified, was transported to Boston Medical Center.

An investigation is ongoing.
