The Boston Police Department reports a man was shot shortly before 2 a.m. on Sunday at 10 Westmore Rd. in Mattapan. The victim was declared dead at the scene.

In a separate incident, a man was stabbed around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday on the 800 block of Cummins Highway.
