The Boston Police Departments report a man was shot to death shortly before 10 a.m. at 60 Goodale Rd., between Blue Hill Avenue and Wellington Hill Street.

Police charged John Patterson, 29, of Peabody with the murder. He is scheduled for arraignment in Dorchester Municipal Court.
