Construction work at the intersection of Morrissey Boulevard and Freeport Street will lead to alternating lane closures between Tuesday, May 30 and Friday, July 14.

The work will last between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., and possibly include nights and weekends, according to the state Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR).

The construction work involves intersection, curbing and sidewalk improvements.

“Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and a police detail will be on site,” a notice from DCR said.
