Boston Police continue to investigate a shots fired incident on Cushing Avenue in Uphams Corner that took place just after 9 p.m. on Wed., June 4, with multiple rounds hitting a home on the street.

A police summary of the incident noted C-11 officers responded to the corner of Cushing Avenue and Wilbur Street just a block up from Columbia Road on a ShotSpotter activation. Officers were directed to Cushing Avenue where they found ballistic evidence in the road at the Cushing and Wilbur intersection.

Officers also recorded ballistic damage to a home in that immediate area. A survey of the scene indicated no injuries and no victims.

The matter is part of an ongoing investigation, police said.
