Boston Police are investigating a late-night stabbing incident across the street from Ashmont MBTA station that has a man fighting for his life this week.
Boston Police responded to the scene near the intersection of Bailey Street and Dorchester Ave. at 11:45 p.m. on June 5 according to a BPD report reviewed by The Reporter.
The victim, described in the report as a Black male, approximately 30 to 40 years old, suffered multiple stab wounds to the abdomen and was transported to a hospital by Boston EMS. The suspect was listed as “unknown.”
The report says detectives and an assistant district attorney responded to the scene.
