Dine Out Boston, a two-week-long, citywide culinary celebration that this year features two Dorchester restaurants, will return this Saturday, Aug. 1, and for the first time, will include three Saturdays.
Presented by Meet Boston in partnership with the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism and new sponsor Toast, Dine Out Boston allows diners to visit their choice of 200-plus participating restaurants for special menus, promotional deals, and prices.
“Boston’s culinary scene is receiving the recognition it deserves. We are a premier dining destination, and we want residents and visitors alike to experience it through our Dine Out Boston program,” said Martha J. Sheridan, president & CEO of Meet Boston.
“With three Saturdays on the table, Dine Out Boston is perfect for a family excursion, date night, or a gathering with friends or colleagues. Diners can explore specially priced menus at restaurants across Greater Boston, with a wide range of cuisines to choose from throughout all 23 Boston neighborhoods.”
Dorchester has two restaurants participating in the fun this year. If you’re looking to get away from the shops and hit the shore, then visit Port Norfolk for Italian cuisine at Venzia Waterfront Restaurant. On shore, authentic Japanese BBQ diners can visit Gyu-Kaku at South Bay Center.
All participating restaurants will offer prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner, with many also offering takeout and delivery options. Restaurants can select one of three price points for their lunch ($27, $32, or $36) and dinner menus ($38, $46, or $55).
This summer’s program will benefit Blue Hill Observatory, Rever Beach Partnership, and the Veronica Robles Cultural Center. Diners are encouraged to participate and bid in the Dine Out Boston auction at DOBauction.com.
