Boston Police are investigating a shooting inside a Dorchester apartment Wednesday evening that left a man with life-threatening injuries.
Officers assigned to District B-3 responded at about 5:39 p.m. on Sept. 30 to a report of a person shot inside an apartment at 7 Whitfield St., according to Boston Police.
Officers found a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Boston EMS transported him to a local hospital, where his injuries were considered life-threatening.
Police did not immediately release the victim’s identity or provide information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or any potential suspects.
Detectives assigned to the Boston Police Homicide Unit are investigating.
