Adams Village merchants came together on Saturday afternoon to host the 2nd annual Fall Fest – a bigger and better version of last year’s inaugural effort.

Friends Stella and Isla posed in front of the Fall Fest photo booth on Minot Street Saturday afternoon.

There was live music on the back patio of Landmark Pub by the band Cassidy Deadwater and Friends – who brought a lively atmosphere and a good crowd with them. Minot Street was shut down between Adams Street and the parking lot entrance for vendors and games – including cornhole outside of Blasi’s.

Mechanical bull rides were a hit with children, along with pumpkin painting and face painting. Businesses were open and thriving with promotions for the Fall Fest afternoon.

David, Karen, and Louis Coco travelled to Adams Village specifically to take in Fall Fest and enjoy the afternoon in Dorchester.

The event hearkened back as a smaller version of the Adams Village Irish Festival years ago that closed off Adams Street and attracted a thousand people or more.
