21 days to Nov. 5. The first televised debate between the two finalists takes place today at 7 p.m. on WBZ. The debate will be moderated by WBZ’s Jon Keller and the Boston Globe’s Akilah Johnson. The Globe's Wesley Lowery has a preview: "According to campaign aides, both candidates spent much of the weekend prepping with staff members, honing responses to questions they anticipate being asked and planning whether to go on the attack." State Rep. Marty Walsh campaigns with former rival Charlotte Golar Richie, while City Councillor At-Large John Connolly will be at City Hall for a hearing on the controversial collective bargaining award for the Boston Police Patrolmen's Association.
