And then there were 12. Possibly. Probably. The signatures necessary to get on the municipal ballot must be verified by June 25, and there’s still an opportunity for contenders who fell short to push for a review.

But the rest of the field will press on: A number of them marched in the Bunker Hill Day Parade on Sunday. Their schedules are becoming littered with forums and their campaign coffers are also filling up.

-- At the Bunker Hill Day Parade through Charlestown, Joanne Massaro, Mayor Thomas Menino’s public works chief, marched with Charlotte Golar Richie’s camp, according to eagle-eyed sources. Richie is a former state representative from Dorchester and former housing chief under Menino.

-- Lori Pelligrini, CEO of Mass. Association of Health Plans and a former aide to Gov. Deval Patrick, donates $200 to Connolly mayoral campaign, per the Office of Campaign and Political Finance.

-- Carole Brennan, Menino's press secretary between 2000 and 2003, has contributed $500 to District 5 Councillor Rob Consalvo's mayoral campaign.

-- James Hunt Jr., president of the Mass. League of Community Health Centers, donated $200 to the mayoral campaign of Bill Walczak, a former hospital CEO.

-- Barstool Sports’ David Portnoy did not make not the ballot. The Internet baron, who gave himself a loan to finance the signature-gathering process, repaid himself to the tune of $15,337 and donated $350 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester, according to OCPF. In a video message last week, Portnoy complained his failure to make the ballot amounted to “dirty magic.”
