No bail for woman arrested on Wainwright Street, charged in July homicide

A Weymouth woman was arrested in Dorchester last weekend and charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of Jazreanna Sheppard of South Boston outside the Park Street MBTA stop last summer.

Alyssa Partsch, 30, was arrested around 6 a.m. on Saturday morning at 25 Wainwright St. in Dorchester, police say. She was arraigned on Monday in Suffolk Superior Court in front of Clerk Magistrate Edward Curley, who ordered that Partsch should be held without bail.

Patrsch allegedly accosted the victim shortly after 11:30 p.m. on July 21. Assistant District Attorney Kaitlin Tolbert said the two women had never met but that “Partsch had sent Sheppard numerous antagonistic social media messages.”

Video footage, Tolbert said, shows Partsch “approach Sheppard while holding a knife and then stab her numerous times in the head and neck.”

Sheppard later died from her injuries. Partsch is due back in court on Nov. 16 for a hearing.
