Walsh, Cotterell to be honored at Codman Square Health Center’s annual meeting

Codman Square Health Center will honor Massachusetts Secretary of Health and Human Services Kate Walsh and their own outgoing Sandra Cotterell at its annual public meeting on Thursday, Oct. 5, in the Great Hall in Codman Square.

Codman hosts its public meeting annually to both honor those who have made an impact on the health center, and to report to patients, staff, and community members about the health center over the previous year. Attendees will hear from health center leaders, get a feel for what happens at the health center, and better understand the numbers behind what is published in its annual report.

Prior to her current role as Health and Human Services Secretary, Kate Walsh served as CEO of Boston Medical Center (BMC) for over 13 years. Sandra Cotterell, who has spent 29 years working at Codman, announced her retirement last month.

This will be Codman’s first in-person public annual meeting since the COVID pandemic.

The event starts at 6 p.m. in Great Hall at 6 Norfolk St., Dorchester.
