On May 27, more than 400 people gathered at The Copley Fairmont Hotel for the annual Catholic Charities Spring Celebration. This year’s recipient of the John and Virginia Kaneb Award for Social Justice was Tim Sweeney, chairman of Liberty Mutual Insurance.
His inspiring remarks spoke to the importance of CCAB’s mission to help others in need, no matter what their circumstance.
This year’s gala was the most successful one in CCAB’s history- over $1.8 million was raised to support their human and social programs and services.
