The Zoning Board of Appeal on Tuesday approved plans to build a three-decker on a vacant lot at 102 Nightingale St. near Talbot Avenue.
Augustine Kim’s proposal calls for three condos, with one to be sold as affordable, his attorney, Ryan Spitz said.
The proposal needed several zoning variances, including for the 3,230-square-foot lot being too small for three units, being too close to its side and front yard lines and not having any parking.
Spitz said the proposed building would fit in the “surrounding context” of neighboring buildings and the board agreed, voting unanimously to allow construction of a building type that was once built across Boston.
