A proposal to build 20 new condos at 2062 Dorchester Ave., which sits just north and east of its intersection with Gallivan Blvd., won approval from the Boston Planning Department board on Sept. 17.
The four-story project, advanced by developers Fernando Dalfior and Brad Cangiamila, includes four income-restricted units and a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom condominiums, including four income-restricted units.
The developers will contribute $5,500 to the Boston Transportation Department to support the city’s bike-share system.
The plan also includes 5 below-grade parking spaces, along with 34 bicycle spaces and it is expected to support about 19 construction jobs.
The BPDA board also okayed a new development in Brighton at their meeting. Together, the projects in Dorchester and Brighton were okayed to create 82 condos, including 11 income-restricted units.
