Dorchester’s Dr. Lianne Hughes-Odom, the principal at Dorchester’s Oliver Wendell Holmes K-6 Innovation School, will be honored by the Alnoba Lewis Family Foundation on Wed., Oct. 21 at an event in Kensington, NH, where she will receive the Harriet R. Lewis Gutsy Young Leader award for her work at the school.
Harriet and Alan Lewis launched the awards in 2018 to recognize leaders whose work moves communities toward a more just and sustainable future.
“We are honored to celebrate the extraordinary Alnoba award recipients—leaders whose courage, compassion, and conviction remind us that one daring person can help change the world,” said Charlotte Lewis, co-chair of the Alnoba Lewis Family Foundation.
