Fontbonne, The Early College of Boston celebrated the achievements of its Class of 2026 at the school’s 69th Commencement ceremony on May 21 in the school’s CSJ Center. The 72 seniors achieved a 100 percent college acceptance rate and earned more than $14.1 million in scholarship awards.

Graduates will matriculate to colleges and universities across the country, with students earning admission to a wide range of highly selective institutions, including Brown University, Boston College, Howard University, UCLA, and Syracuse University.

Judith Flynn Coyne, class of 1979, delivered the commencement address. 1982, Coyne founded her child care learning center in Quincy and has since shared her expertise with countless students, families, and educators.

A devoted supporter of Fontbonne, Coyne previously served on the school’s Board of Trustees and, alongside her husband, helped establish the beloved Evening Under the Stars fundraiser.

She is an active member of the Fontbonne Alumnae Association and has been recognized with both the Sister of Saint Joseph Award and the Woman of Courage Award for her service and leadership.
