The Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services will host a virtual abutters meeting next Thursday (Nov. 12) at 7 p.m. to discuss proposed changes to a newly constructed building at 1153-1155 Washington St. in Lower Mills.
The plan calls for completing unfinished ground-floor commercial space, including framing, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm and fire protection work.
The property owner is also seeking to change the building’s approved occupancy from 24 residential units and a ground-floor liquor store to 24 residential units with professional offices, local retail businesses and a beauty shop on the ground floor.
The building is on the site of what used to be Metamorphesis, a convenience store that was demolished to make room for this new project.
