President Obama to campaign for Markey in Roxbury on Wednesday

President Obama will be in Roxbury on Wednesday to drum up support for Congressman Ed Markey, a Malden Democrat running in the U.S. Senate special election. Markey is facing off against Gabriel Gomez, a Cohasset Republican, on June 25.

The Markey camp on Sunday announced locations for supporters to pick up tickets for the Wednesday event, which will be held at the Reggie Lewis Track Center. Doors are scheduled to open at 11 a.m. Boston locations are located below.

The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required for entrance. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The event is open to the media. Media logistical details will be distributed in a separate advisory in the coming days.

To pick up your ticket, visit one of the following locations beginning Sunday, June 9 from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and continuing on Monday, June 10 from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
